Sunset Walk on Leme Beach

Yes, it's been almost two months since our vacation in Rio de Janiero and I'm STILL posting photos. But, I couldn't NOT share these photos of one of the most mysterious & magical sunsets I have ever seen.

After spending the day soaking up the rays, the clouds rolled in and we decided to pack up our things and take a walk down the beach to Leme Rock. It was a Sunday evening, so we passed many locals enjoying the last moments of their weekend, whether that be playing some soccer or listening to live music. It was a beautiful night.

  1. I want a Brazilian vacation. But those visas man.... what a pain. Oh, and being broke is a preventative as well, haha.

    1. Yeah, that visa thing is annoying and not cheap (but can't complain too much...the US requires Brazilians to obtain a visa so I guess it's only fair haha). But, after the visa, the trip didn't turn out to be too expensive at all!

    1. I think that it's probably always warm in Rio no matter the season, but in the Southern Hemisphere we are in Spring now and it's just lovely! Was pretty rainy for the first part of Spring, but now we are finally getting some good tanning weather, hurrah!

  4. Oh wow, Leme Beach looks so beautiful! I think it's so interesting to see the apartment buildings and highrises near the beach, it kind of makes for a cool contrast. I'd love to see vacation photos any day!

    1. It really does make for a cool contrast. The whole city of Rio seems to be one of many contrasts. It's very interesting to see mountains shooting up throughout such a huge city, and one full of buildings, as well as all the greenery and the beautiful beaches. I posted some more photos from our trip last month if you want to check them out---I was able to get some really awesome photos taken atop Sugarloaf Mountain...the views were incredible!
